The following are websites I've developed, either alone or with a small team. Descriptions highlight the most interesting features of each one.
Video Showcase and Sales Tool
The Orphanage is a video effects studio, and this website showcases commercials they have worked on. It's also a sales tool where prospective clients can view material not available to the public at large. The site looks great, reflecting The O's high production values and sense of style.
Lineage of a Buddhist Tradition
The Jonang Foundation is an on-line reference of information pertaining to the Jonang Buddhist tradition. Numerous documents are available, as is a database of spiritual sites and historical figures.
Multimedia Education
ESL Video provides lessons in English as a second language. Students throughout the world watch brief documentary videos. Flash-based exams in comprehension, vocabulary and other topics reinforce what they have learned. Its a complete multimedia experience designed to help intermediate English speakers become fluent.
Newsletter and Event Calendar
The Citizen Advocacy Center publishes a quarterly newsletter to hundreds of subscribers. With my help, they made the move to on-line publishing. Now, they save money on printing and distribution, and get information to their subscribers ASAP.
Directory of Yoga Teachers and Classes
Yogadex.org allows teachers to list when and where they teach, and allows students to look up classes in their neighborhoods. This site is unlike other on-line yoga directories, because it lists not only teachers and studios, but specific classes and workshops.
