Screencast of Drupal for Facebook

At the recent Bay Area Drupal Camp, I presented Drupal for Facebook. I built a small Facebook Application and walked through how I used Drupal to create it. Now the details of this presentation are available in two screencasts.

If you're curious about what Drupal for Facebook is, or if you've downloaded it but are having trouble setting it up, these screencasts are for you.

If you're having trouble reading the videos here, I recommend you find them on my blip.tv page. There, you can click each video, then select the alternate format labelled 'source'. Its still compressed, but slightly less so than the flash version shown here.

The first video describes the app from a user's perspective. Basically, it allows you to author blog posts, either via Drupal directly, or through the canvas pages presented by the app. The blog posts are summarized on your Facebook profile page. You can demo the application here: http://apps.facebook.com/badcamp.

The second screencast walks through how the application is set up. Using my Drupal admin account, I show all the relevant pages, including modules, blocks, views, and settings specific to Facebook.

Oh, I also want to mention, my microphone is not the best. In real life, I hope I don't lisp like that. But no denying I say "um..." from time to time. ;)
